Holding Hands

About me…

I have been in a management and supervisory role in the financial services world for many years. As a manager, I need to use logic and facts to make important financial decisions as well as communicating effectively and accurately in meetings. I am as comfortable speaking in an assembly of hundreds as I am to gatherings of 4-5 people, and I responsibly adhere to the guidance provided by the State of Massachusetts COVID19 emergency resources.

In my free time, I am an artist. I've been painting, etching and creating art for as long as I can remember. I like to think outside the box to find creative and imaginative ways to change everyday objects (paper, canvas, paint, pencil, crafts) into something magical. I have written and illustrated books for my grandsons based on stories we tell each other. It is also one of the reasons I became a Justice of the Peace. I love using instinct and inspiration to help couples make their wedding day or vow renewals memorable.

As a wedding officiant, I rely on the two sides of my brain working together in harmony. The left side of my brain assists with the facts, details and timing of a ceremony, speaking in a large or small group setting and staying calm in hectic situations. The right side of my brain allows me to bring some creativity, imagination and vision to add value and wonderful memories to your special day.

I genuinely believe that we are destined to love the person we love. Massachusetts (finally) allows same gender marriages, and I am pleased to be able to officiate weddings between persons of the same gender, different faiths, age groups and ethnicity.

In 2022, I celebrated my 38th wedding anniversary with the man who knows me better than anyone and can complete my sentences while still accepting my artistic, creative and sometimes “too logical” nature. Even after all these years, it remains an ongoing process…we never take each other for granted and we don’t sweat the small stuff.

My wish for you is that you find the same happiness with your partner.
